Our company provides a supportive working environment for our staff where they can grow to become warm, caring, motivated and highly skilled artisans.
Part of the profit we make goes to social welfare activities. For example, we have been regularly supporting UNICEF since 2000.
MESSAGE
私たちの存在意義
紀元前より、地球のあらゆる土地で育まれた文化の中に、描画というものが人々の生活の中心にあったことが多く確認できます。
広く知られているものとして、フランスにあるラスコー洞窟壁画、エジプトにあるツタンカーメンの王墓壁画、中国にある莫高窟の壁画、日本にある高松塚古墳の壁画や法隆寺金堂壁画、大徳寺の天井画、そしてイタリアのサンタマリア・デル・フィオーレ大聖堂の天井画等世界各地に描画は施され、数千年の時を経て今に生きています。現在はラスベガスにあるホテルや国際空港等の公共の場、商業施設やアミューズメント施設など、人々の集まるあらゆる場所に描画を見る事が出来ます。
先人達から受け継がれた技術を、世界各地のアーチスト達が将来に繋げようと様々な活動をしています。私はその世界で活躍しているエキスパートなアーチスト達のコンソーシアムに加わり、その一員として各地域で研究された技術を学び合っています。もちろん日本の技術を年に２〜３回は世界各地を回って指導しております。
私は、世界各地にいるアーチスト達と描画という技術を元にビジネス活動を進め、そこで得た利益で若手育成を行い社会に貢献したいと考えています。そして、人の感性を生かして創り上げられた描画の世界が今も変わらず人々の社会生活のなかで大きな役割がある事を表現してゆきます。それが私の選んだ道です。

Faux Arts Design (F.A.D.) was established in 2000 in Tokyo, Japan and has since worked for commercial clients, offering unique and creative design solutions. Kurimata’s energy, talent and commitment to quality have won her the loyalty of many large businesses. Today, with a great team consisting of 7 creative people, F.A.D. has grown into a leading company and has a reputation for providing outstanding design services that include decorative painting, mural work, plasters, gilding and wall treatments.
Faux Arts Design’s focus is on high quality project designs and artisanal work. Kurimata’s vision is to share her talents with clients and thus enable her works to grow along with the artisans who make up her “dream team”. The company continues to serve clients across Japan and will have second studio in 2017.
